Melges C- 60.9 description- The hull is heavily built with hand: laid fiberglass, and the boat is reinforced at all stress points with marine plywood laminated to the hull, deck, and cabin top. An integral fiberglass hull liner provides additional strength. A few boats were built with a fixed keel and an inboard engine.
- The R33 Cat comes with a standard, easy to sail 48 foot rig and an easy to slip 14-foot beam and rates a blistering : 72 PHRF. At only 3280 pounds this cat offers better performance and incredible deck space and comfort that other boats can't offer...all at an extremely competitive value. On the road her light hulls and innovative demountable trailering system allows the R33 Cat to be transported easily by two persons.
